Andrew is a graduate student studying breast cancer and aging in the lab of Dr. Tollefsbol. His current research involves the effect of methylation state on the function of the telomerase gene (TERT) as well as the effect of sulforaphane consumption during puberty on tumorigenesis later in life. He is a graduate of Auburn University, where he worked primarily on the characterization of plant reproductive genes.
