On June 29-30, 2016, UAB will host an academic drug discovery colloquium at the new Hill University Center. Keynote speakers include Dr. Dennis C. Liotta, executive director, The Emory Institute for Drug Development (EIDD); Dr. George Painter, CEO of Drug Innovation Ventures at Emory, LLC (DRIVE) and EIDD president and CEO; Dr. John S. Lazo, professor of Pharmacology and Chemistry at University of Virginia; and Dr. Monica Guzman, assistant professor of Pharmacology in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, among others.
