UAB IT is adding a myReports tab to the MyUAB portal, creating a central location to access regularly-used reports, without the need to bookmark or remember multiple sites.  

The myReports tab is located on the myWork section of the portal. If you have role-level security access to specific Tableau reports, the myReports tab ultimately will be a collection of reports that have been shared with you. You will also be able to favorite reports for easy retrieval and search for reports based on tags or report description. This functionality will be rolled out over several phases. 

Phase 1 of myReports is launching Sept. 8 and includes: 

  • Tableau reports to which you now have access via MyUAB through the Tableau button/icon. Other reporting systems will be added in later phases. 
  • Access to the comprehensive UAB Facts and Figures report, published by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Analysis, will be available for all UAB employees in this new tab.

The button/icon quick link to Tableau, currently located on the myHome tab of myUAB for those who have access, will remain functional for a short time, but will be removed later in favor of accessing myReports via the myWork tab.  

Future phases for myReports features are being developed, with guidance from the Data Governance Committee, and will be announced as they become available.
