Tableau is one of UAB’s data analyst systems, allowing easy access to reading items classified as Public and Sensitive. This software makes it easy to share data with managers and team members across campus.

With no impact on its users, UAB IT was able to switch to a more flexible and scalable Tableau system. This allows the University to have more users at no additional cost — avoiding at least a $35,000 increase.

By switching to a server system — rather than online — UAB can have more users and the on-site server allows for more wide-ranging data management.
