Deep South Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (RCMAR)

The Deep South Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (RCMAR) invites Letters of Intent (LOI) to apply for one-year pilot grants focusing on minority aging and health equity/disparities in the Black/African American population.

  • Available funds: up to $40,000
  • Number of awards: 2 – 4 projects may be funded
  • Award Project Period: One year: July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025
  • Eligibility: Applicants must have a faculty appointment at UAB

Key Dates

  • Letter of Intent (LOI) Due: On or before Wednesday, December 6, 2023
  • Applications Due: On or before Monday, January 22, 2024
  • Response to Reviews Due: Monday, February 26, 2024
