Congratulations to Alecia Beck who recently accepted the position of Information Specialist for the Advancement Information Services & Analytics (AISA) team.

Alecia began her career at UAB as a student worker. During that time, she received a bachelor’s degree in finance with a concentration in investments and institutions. Over the last six years, she advanced in Alumni Affairs from a student worker to Administrative Support Specialist, to Data Analyst, and now Information Specialist with the AISA team.

“Building on skills developed from years with the National Alumni Society, Alecia will expand her impact across Advancement by performing quality improvement procedures, capturing detailed business process documentation, and addressing training support needs,” said Assistant Director of Advancement Information & Analytics Lee O’Neil.

In this role, Alecia will be responsible for helping to improve processes, CRM training, and data clean-up.

“Alecia’s love of UAB, her grasp on data, and her familiarity with UAB operations makes her an ideal fit for the position – being a great person to work with is a lucky bonus for us all,” O’Neil said.
