We are excited to share that Beau Bowden has been promoted to Program Director II for Corporations and Foundations.

Since joining UAB Advancement in August 2022, Beau served as Project Manager II for the Provost Office and Student Affairs, where he managed multiple fundraising projects and worked collaboratively across other units to achieve results.

“Beau is an excellent fit for this position,” Associate Vice President of Development David Allen said. “He has strong project management skills and a detail-oriented approach to accomplishing his work.”

As Program Director II, Beau will direct the Corporate and Foundation Relations program, including central grant submissions, timelines for accepting grants, required reporting, coordinating multiple priorities, and other programmatic functions. He will also support Advancement leadership to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners by directing the development of presentation materials and impact reports for meetings.

“Beau has previous experience working with grant submissions and corporate and foundation portals, and we are excited to see him succeed in this role as he has over the last two years,” David said.
