We’re thrilled to welcome Beverly Barnwell to our team as Alumni Business Administrator for the Heersink School of Medicine.

 In this role, she will manage the day-to-day business of the Medical Alumni Association (MAA), including processing memberships and donations and assisting with events for medical alumni and students, including Medical Alumni Weekend.

Beverly comes to us from Jacksonville State University, where she served more than 150 students as an Athletic Academic Advisor for the past five years. Beverly lives northeast of Birmingham and is married to Michael; together they have two boys, Daniel and Nathan, and one granddaughter, Oakleigh.

In her free time, Beverly enjoys gardening, canning, spending time with family and friends, and vacationing at the beach.
