Congratulations to Daagye Hendricks, who was recently promoted to Assistant Director of Annual Giving.

As Assistant Director of Annual Giving, Daagye will be responsible for the strategy, conceptualization, and development of fundraising campaigns for UAB schools and units. She will evaluate the use of direct mail, email, and crowdfunding to find the best methods of communication to various constituencies on an annual basis.

Daagye joined Advancement in 2022 as Annual Giving Manager. Prior to Advancement, she worked as a patient navigator for the UAB Comprehensive Transplant Institute (CTI) with a concentration on live donor kidney transplant. During her time with the CTI, she assisted with the creation of the UAB Live Donor Navigator Program, a program that has received national recognition and is currently the only Transplant Center Educational Program of its kind in the U.S. Daagye has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Clark Atlanta University and attended the University of Alabama Executive MBA program.

“As a dedicated Annual Giving team player, Daagye has successfully managed multiple projects while also tracking financial progress, making her an invaluable asset to Annual Giving’s baseline and ad hoc campaigns,” said Director of Annual Giving Clay Shannon.
