We’re excited to welcome Emily Bridges to UAB Advancement as the Stewardship Manager for Donor Relations. In this role, Emily will oversee stewardship efforts for UAB's top-level donors, including corporations and foundations and individuals with significant and complex giving history. Her responsibilities for these donors will include annual impact reports, major gift acknowledgments and digital stewardship, such as ThankView.

Emily studied history at the University of Mississippi but found her way into the advancement world after graduation. In the last 15 years, Emily has served in several development roles—including a nine-year stint with Children’s of Alabama. Most recently, she was the Director of Development at Preschool Partners.

Emily lives in Homewood with her husband Dan, two girls Lanier, who is eight years old, and Blair, who is five, two pets Calvin, a rescue hound, and Catsby, an orange tabby. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, Big Spoon Creamery, and morning workouts when she doesn’t turn off her alarm.
