Congratulations to Erica Scott, who was recently promoted to Associate Director of Gift and Records Administration.

In this role, she will assist in the responsibility for the team’s daily operational duties and ensure processes and procedures are followed. Erica joined UAB Advancement in 2024 as the Project Administrator for Heersink School of Medicine Constituent Engagement.

Erica received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in management from Stillman College. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the higher education, nonprofit, and finance sectors. Before joining UAB, she served as Coordinator of Advancement Operations for Birmingham-Southern College.

“Erica has been promoted to this new position and has hit the ground running,” said Director of Gifts and Records Administration Kimberly Burnett. “She has a passion for Advancement and key skills that make her an asset to Gifts and Records Administration. We are thrilled to have her on our team.”
