We’re excited to welcome Annual Giving Manager Kate Hollingsworth to UAB Advancement. In this role, she will oversee the solicitation and marketing efforts of Benevolent Fund projects, including Blazers Against Hunger and the Benevolent Fund Spring Campaign, as well as other Annual Giving Ad Hoc campaigns. She will also manage the Annual Giving stewardship strategies and donor outreach.

Although new to UAB Advancement, Kate is a UAB alum and received a bachelor’s degree in education. In 2019, she shifted to the nonprofit scene, serving most recently as the Director of Development at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.

Kate is happily married and has an 11-year-old daughter named Ava. She and her family live in Birmingham. In her free time, she enjoys the local music scene and spending time with all five of her rescue pets—four dogs and one cat.
