We are thrilled to welcome Katie Harrell to UAB Advancement!

Harrell is joining Alumni Affairs as the office services specialist.

She will be the first-person visitors see when they come to the Alumni House and the first voice those calling will hear. In addition, she will provide administrative support for data needs and alumni house events as well as work with the NAS Board of Directors.

“We are excited to have Katie joining the Alumni Affairs team,” Jennifer Breland, assistant vice president of alumni affairs, said. “She is a recent graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Public Health and the Honors College and brings a great passion for UAB with her. I look forward to working with her as she grows in this new position.”

Harrell of Vestavia Hills is now pursuing her Masters of Higher Education Administration on the advising track here at UAB.
