Congratulations to Kerry Chesnut, who has recently been named Director of Development for the School of Dentistry.

In this role, she will carry a robust portfolio of major donors. She will also work extensively with our UAB Dentistry Leadership Council. In addition to managing her own portfolio, she will hire and manage an Assistant Director of Development.

“We are thrilled to have Kerry join our Development and Alumni Relations team in the School of Dentistry,” Executive Director of Development for the School of Dentistry Scott Huffman said. “She will play a key role in shaping our reunion giving and corporate giving programs.”

Kerry has worked at UAB since January of 2018 where she served as the Director of Development for the School of Education before she became the Director of Development for Regional Giving in September of 2019.

“In her previous role with regional development, Kerry was invaluable to dentistry as she worked with several of our alumni and friends across the country,” Huffman said. “We were fortunate to hire Kerry and she has already hit the ground running.”
