We’re excited to welcome Kionna McCain to UAB Advancement. As a Development Coordinator, Kionna will assist Development Officers in in identifying and cultivating potential major gift prospects for the schools and units. She will also support the Development efforts of assigned areas in all aspects of donor engagement and solicitation.

Kionna developed a passion for fundraising during her time as a student at Berea College. After her junior year, she transferred to UAB and finished her college career as a Blazer. Most recently, Kionna worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s of Alabama.

Kionna currently lives in Trussville and is the oldest of two siblings. In her free time, she loves to bake, travel, read, and work out.
