We’re excited to welcome Matthew Porter to UAB Advancement as a Project Manager II to the Office of the Provost and Office of Student Affairs. In this role, Matthew will work on special projects, identify giving opportunities and potential donor groups and help track constituent engagement.
A native from Hueytown, Matthew attended UAB and graduated with a degree in secondary social science education. After graduating, Matthew went to work on multiple political campaigns in Mississippi and Alabama. Most recently, he has worked in data analytics, GIS mapping, and strategic and data consulting.
Matthew currently lives in Birmingham. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, baking, reading, mountain biking, and various water sports.
