We’re so excited to welcome Megan Muzer to UAB Advancement as a Regional Giving Specialist. In this role, she will build relationships with UAB Alumni across the region with the goal of connecting them to the university and highlighting ways to give to UAB.

Although new to UAB Advancement, Megan has been a Blazer for years. She graduated from the university in 2009 with a degree in social psychology. She also earned a graduate’s certificate in nonprofit management in 2016 and a Master of Public Administration in 2021.

Megan has spent over a decade of her career here on campus, serving in different support roles for both the university and hospital. Most recently, Megan served as the Campaign Development Manager at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She said she is happy to be back home at UAB.

Megan is a Birmingham native and currently lives in Pelham with her sweet pup named Oliver Pascal. She loves Disney, all things Mardi Gras, and is proud to be “Aunt Meg” to her nieces and nephews.
