Since joining UAB Advancement in November 2022, Sarah has done an excellent job of implemented strategies for identifying, cultivating, and stewarding individuals, corporations, and foundations that has resulted in several impressive major gifts as well as mid-level gifts to support the School of Health Professions.

 

“I am so impressed with her tremendous fundraising success over the past year two years at UAB,” Associate Vice President for Development David Allen said.

 

Sarah joined UAB with nearly four years of experience in donor relations, events and fundraising with the Southeast Health Foundation in Dothan, Alabama. It’s not just Sarah’s success or expertise that makes her a great fit for this team; it’s her willingness to jump into any project, take the lead on it, and consistently seek feedback on ways to improve and grow her skills and abilities.

 

“Sarah has a positive mindset about the opportunity she has been given in the School of Health Professions to learn through leading multiple fundraising initiatives and has been thoughtful and proactive about building strong and trusting relationships with the dean, faculty and staff,” David said. “The results have been impressive, and we are excited to share this well-deserved promotion.”
