Congratulations to Storey Gillen, who recently accepted the position of Prospect Research Analyst.

In this role, she will conduct thorough research analysis to identify new suspects for both clinical and academic initiatives at UAB. She will also create comprehensive profiles to assist development officers and leaders with cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.

Storey joined Advancement in October 2024 as a Regional Giving Specialist. In her six months at UAB, she has gained valuable experience in the Development sphere that will help her succeed in Advancement Services.

“Storey brings a unique perspective to our team. Her time in Development will give her insight into what will be most helpful to development officers that we haven’t had before in PRM,” said Interim Director of Prospect Research and Management Kate Harris.

Storey graduated from Berea College with a bachelor’s degree in business. Before UAB, she worked for the University of Kentucky in the School of Music, as well as the University of North Carolina - Greensboro in the Center for Translational Biomedical Research.

“I’m thrilled to have her at our end of the hall and can’t wait to hear what new ideas she has for the work we do,” Kate said.
