Alumni Officer - Data and Scholarships
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an Alumni Officer for Data and Scholarships within the Office of Advancement’s Alumni Affairs team. The Alumni Officer is responsible for all alumni data, programming, stewardship, and scholarship information. The Alumni Officer will track and manage all lists, updates, and data mining. The incumbent will process and manage the “Growing up Green and Gold” program, the alumni scholarship programs, and complete stewardship responsibilities.

The primary responsibility of this position is to create personalized proposals, correspondence, and stewardship/impact reports on behalf of the Heersink School of Medicine Advancement team. The writer will assist with developing and enhancing the print and digital content with the goal of strengthening relationships with donors to UAB. This position will work closely with other members of UAB Advancement, Heersink School of Medicine and other University personnel to translate the Heersink School of Medicine’s mission and goals into substantial achievements in fundraising and general advancement.

Records Management Specialist II – Office of Advancement
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Records Management Specialist II to work under minimal supervison, to document and maintain institutional or department records, often of a complex and confidential nature. This position receives records, reviews, and verifies appropriateness of documentation. It process charitable donation campus-wide, ensures those donations are correctly deposited and issues tax receipts to the donors. It will also assist in maintaining a current biographical database for the university.
Regional Giving Specialist
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Regional Giving Specialist in the Office of Advancement. This position will develop and implement strategies to ensure the success of a regional giving program with alumni, parents/family, and friends with an emphasis on alumni engagement and mid-level giving as an integral component of the University’s overall institutional advancement program.
