Board Member

Originally from Tennessee, Chris became a permanent Birmingham resident after serving five years in the United States Marine Corps. Chris is an alumnus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he received a Bachelor & Master of Arts in Communication as well as a Master of Public Administration. With a passion for all things nonprofit organizations and conservation, Chris has had the privilege of working for Alabama Audubon, Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation, The Jimmie Hale Mission, and the Alabama Wildlife Center serving as their Executive Director. Chris has a strong passion for wanting to change the world, one nonprofit at a time.

Outside of his professional career, Chris can be found hiking, enjoying local food and drink, or performing and watching live music. He currently resides in Hoover with his wife Allison, daughter Phoebe, and son Emory.
