Christine Lindquist (PhD 1997) is a Research Sociologist at Research Triangle Institute (RTI), working at Research Triangle Park, NC.

As a member of the Crime, Violence, and Justice Research program (housed within the Health, Social, and Economics research unit), her research interests include violence against women, substance abuse treatment, court-based criminal justice initiatives, prisoner reentry, and multi-site evaluation design. She serves as RTI Project Director for two major, multi-site evaluations of criminal justice initiatives funded by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ):

• The Multi-Site Evaluation of the Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative — an evaluation of an inter-agency federal initiative designed to improve the reintegration of released prisoners, with the evaluation including a longitudinal study of nearly 3,000 adult and juvenile offenders in 15 states.
• The Multi-Site Adult Drug Court Evaluation — an evaluation of specialized court programs designed to provide treatment and intensive supervision to non-violent drug offenders, with the evaluation including a longitudinal study of approximately 1,700 adult offenders in 9 states).

In addition, Dr. Lindquist is co-principal investigator on the NIJ-funded Campus Sexual Assault Study (a study of sexual assault and drug-facilitated sexual assault at two universities involving a web-based survey of over 7,000 undergraduate women) and is associate project director on the CDC-funded Evaluation of Workplace Intimate Partner Violence Prevention Programs (an evaluation of corporate initiatives to prevent and respond to intimate partner violence victimization among company employees.
