Fabrice Julien (PhD 2020) is an Assistant Professor of Health and Wellness, and a Medical Sociologist.
With an interdisciplinary background based in social medicine, public health, political science and sociology, Julien is a researcher, scholar and educator. His “T-shaped” training in health disparities enables him to move across domains and to speak to several disciplines.
Dr. Julien is a proud alumnus of The University of Alabama at Birmingham (Ph.D. '20) (M.A. '18), The University of New Hampshire (M.P.H. '15), AmeriCorps (2013-2014), and The University of Georgia (B.A. '13). His research interests include the stress process perspective, immigrant health, race and discrimination, adolescent mental health, global health, aging, and social stratification and mobility.
