Jalal Uddin (PhD 2019) is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie University.
His scholarly interests center on life course and aging, medical sociology, social stratification, intersectionality, and chronic disease epidemiology. His current research focuses on racial, gender, and regional disparities in cardiovascular risk factors in the United States and early life origins of aging and health in Canada. He also has keen interests in policy-relevant questions on women's and children's health in the context of low-income countries, especially in South Asia.
