Yue Cao (PhD 2012) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Science and Research at the Medical University of South Carolina.

He previously worked at the National Spinal Cord Injury Statistical Center, where he completed his Postdoc training.

Cao's research interests focus on health disparities, migration and health study, and psychosocial perspectives of rehabilitation among people with spinal cord injury. In the past four years, he has authored or co-authored 19 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 22 presentations in national or international conferences.
