Washington Book Club
Washington Elementary and Middle School designed a Book Club for students in grades 5-8. Students are assigned a book of the month to read and write a report on. The "best" selected reports are awarded with lunch at UAB-CORD to share in discussion of the "book" with school principals and faculty.
At the end of the school term all students return for a luncheon with UAB VIP's, school faculty and board members where students share their reports.
