In fact, this program will give you the fundamental knowledge, skills, and abilities you need to conduct exercise testing and prescription in both clinical and non-clinical testing. To earn your certificate, you’ll need to complete required coursework covering topics such as Exercise Prescription for High Risk Populations, Application of Exercise Physiology to Fitness and Performance, and Advance Field Experience in Kinesiology. After that, you’ll choose one of two electives, including Advanced Techniques in Conditioning the Athlete or Advanced Exercise Testing and Prescription. In the end, you’ll have a certificate that can serve you well on its own or complement another line of study.
