About the Program

You plan on being a counselor—or maybe you already are—and you see yourself helping couples and families with their relationships. This graduate certificate can help you build your skills in this area.

To earn this certificate, you'll complete 18 hours of coursework to help you learn more about working with couples and families. These courses include Relationships and Human Sexuality and Intersections of Family and Community Systems. You'll even study play therapy—a treatment approach used with children. Once you complete the certificate program, you'll have an expanded set of tools ready to support your future patients.
