About the Program

You want to take your nursing skills beyond a clinical setting so you can make substantive contributions to your field. With your PhD in Nursing, we can prepare you for a career in research, education, health policy, and much more.

To give you the important training you need, we've specifically designed a program that you can tailor to fit your career goals and interests. Even better, we're offering it in a blended format that only includes required on-campus meetings approximately one week per semester. As you earn your degree, you'll participate in seminars, lectures, journal clubs, and other training opportunities to complement your education. Not only that, but we place great value on the mentor relationship. That's why you're going to work directly with a faculty member on original research projects. Finally, while you can finish the program in as little as two years, you'll only need 12 extra hours to add a focused content area to your degree.

Delivery Methods
