In fact, as you enter the workforce, information systems will be the backbone of your organization no matter where you are. That's why making sure you have a solid understanding of both the basics and specialties is so important. Your curriculum will cover topics such as Business Programming, Introduction to Database Management Systems, and Business Data Communications. Upon graduation, you can choose to pursue careers in cyber security, data analytics, hardware or software development, technical sales, and internet application development, among other careers.
