  • Members of the Birmingham Bar Association offer their support to the Pre-Law program.

About the Program

Are you interested in becoming a lawyer or working in the legal profession? While pre-law is not in itself a major, you can consider adding it to your degree. As you complete your undergraduate studies, you'll be adding some pizzazz to your application should you decide to pursue an advanced degree.

As a pre-law student, we're going to give you resources that'll be critical to your entry into this field. First, you'll have access to advising, guest lectures, the legal affairs minor, internships at law firms, mock trial experiences, and our Pre-Law Society. Not only that, but our criminal justice, political science, and other faculty will support you along the way. And finally, our curriculum and instructors will provide you with a strong foundation as you prepare for the LSAT.
