The UAB School of Education Community Counseling Clinic is offering parenting skills group counseling. Join with other parents in a supportive environment and learn about topics such as parenting styles and responsibilities, understanding stages of childhood, exploring the role of self-esteem, and promoting positive behavior.

The group sessions will take place every Tuesday at the UAB Community Counseling Clinic from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. beginning August 28, 2018. The group is open to parents of adolescents and you do not have to attend all of the sessions to participate. The cost is $3 per person, per session. The Clinic is located in Room 157 of the UAB School of Education building at 901 13th St. South in Birmingham.

The UAB Community Counseling Clinic operates under Counselor Education program in the Department of Human Studies.
