Graduation Year:
Why did you choose UAB?
UAB's Honors College gave me the opportunity to study both art and kinesiology at a higher level, which really drew me in. Also, campus is close to home but still far enough away for me to feel some independence!
Why did you choose your major?
I've always loved exercise and learning about how the body works so that's what led me to kinesiology. I've also always loved drawing and painting, so majoring in art helped me to continue pursuing my creative passions as well.
What is your favorite thing about the UAB School of Education?
I love all the different events we have throughout the year and the connections I've been able to form with students who are on the same journey as me.
What class have you enjoyed the most so far at UAB?
My favorite classes at UAB have been anatomy and printmaking! I literally learned something new everyday in both of those classes and I hope to further my anatomy knowledge in PT school.
What is your favorite place to study on or off campus
Sterne Library
My favorite place to study on campus would probably be Sterne Library or the Honors Hall.
You don't have to be involved in everything! Take your time and be intentional in whichever paths you eventually decide to pursue.
What are your plans after you graduate from UAB?
I'm planning to go to PT school and hopefully become a physical therapist.
