Heather Johnson is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Organization, School of Public Health. Her primary interests include maternal and child health, home visiting, early childhood education, health equity, and social determinants of health. She is building a research agenda focused on how early childhood interventions may address social determinants of health and improve equitable outcomes for children and families.
Heather spent over a decade working in the housing sector. She certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate by the U.S. Green Building Council.
