UAB faculty from all corners of campus are invited to attend the Spring All-Campus Faculty Gathering on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 between 3:30-6:00 p.m. at the Edge of Chaos. Come enjoy great food, wines and teas, relax and unwind, synergize with your colleagues, and meet fellow faculty from across campus.

Drop in and out as your schedule allows. No need to RSVP – just come, and bring your colleagues or meet them there.

The event will be hosted in the Edge of Chaos – the very social-friendly atrium on the 4th floor of Lister Hill Library.

Free and convenient event parking is available just across University Blvd, in the 9th Ave Parking Deck, at the corner of 16th St and 9th Ave, enter at the parking attendant, at the 16th Street side entrance. The new convenient crosswalk leads from the parking deck to the front door of Lister Hill Library.

Faculty Senate members will be present for you to meet, if you like, and to answer any questions you may have regarding shared governance activities, the opportunity to serve on the upcoming Faculty Senate term (nominations being taken now-April 2), or for you to discuss any suggestions or concerns you may have. Serving on the Senate is a great opportunity to fulfill a university/unit service requirement while being involved in discussions and decisions that shape the university and guide our mission.
