My name is Neelu Varghese. I am a senior in the neuroscience department with a minor in political science and chemistry. I am a pre-med in the University Honors Program. While at UAB, I have been doing research in the lab of Dr. Rosalinda Roberts where we are looking into the role of copper transporters in Schizophrenia. As a member of the organizations Wings and Women in STEM, I have an interest in helping women and young girls by providing support in their careers and improving their confidence.
