Biography
Dr. Greene completed medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, residency in emergency medicine and fellowship in international medicine and global health at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Greene also completed an MPH at the UAB School of Public Health, and is certified in tropical and neglected infectious disease through the Gorgas Institute, wound care, and hyperbaric medicine.
Since joining the faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2016, Dr. Greene has provided physician leadership in the Serious Infectious Disease Team, helping to coordinate hospital preparedness and personnel training for patients with highly infectious or highly pathogenic infectious disease. He is currently the Director of the Office of Global Health and International Emergency Medicine. He also works in the Russell Wound Care Clinic and Hyperbaric Medicine Clinic.
