Poster Sessions

• There will be two Poster Sessions, both on Saturday, June 16, 2018, one at 12:45 p.m. and the second one at 7:00 p.m.
• Through the generous sponsorship of The American Association of Immunologists (AAI), 14 abstracts will be chosen to receive monetary awards. The top 4 abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation and will receive $250 and the following top 10 abstracts will receive $100
• The deadline for submitting an abstract is Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
• Anyone submitting an abstract must also register for the symposium. To register, click here

Abstract Formatting Requirements and Submission

• All text: Arial font, 9 pt.
• Justified
• Maximum number of words: 300
• Underline name of presenting author
• List: First name, last name
• Provide grant acknowledgements for your research at the end of the abstract (e.g., NIH-AI-24256)

Submit abstracts as an email attachment to Micro-sis@uab.edu before Tuesday, May 15, 2018

Poster Preparation

• Poster space is limited. Be sure to submit abstract early
• Posters should be no wider than 48” and no taller than 36”
• Oversized posters will not be allowed
