Annual Translational and Transformative Informatics Symposium (ATTIS) 2024
The Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science (DBIDS) and the Systems Pharmacology AI Research Center (SPARC) hosted the 8th Annual Translational and Transformative Informatics Symposium (ATTIS). The symposium, held at the Margaret Cameron Spain Auditorium, provided insights into the future of healthcare and celebrated the inception of SPARC.
The theme of ATTIS was 'When Drug Discovery Meets AI,' and highlighted the symbiosis between cutting-edge drug discovery and the revolutionary advances in artificial intelligence. Trainees and researchers presented abstracts reflecting the innovative spirit of these fields. ATTIS provided a collaborative environment with critical discussions and featured a rich array of sessions, including a keynote presentation on the transformative impact of AI in drug discovery. Flash talk sessions provided rapid, compelling insights into groundbreaking research, and the event's poster sessions provided multiple visual narratives of current scientific investigations.
