The Heersink School of Medicine offers various programs designed to spur innovation and enhance leadership, communication, and networking skills in academic medicine. Join us this April for three upcoming events where faculty, staff, students, and trainees can explore key topics such as mentoring, career development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and work-life integration.
UAB Leadership Webinar - From Data to Dialogue: The Power of Communication in the AI Era
On April 2 at noon via Zoom, the Heersink School of Medicine Asian American and Pacific Islander Faculty Association will be joined by Neha Negandhi for the UAB Leadership Webinar, “From Data to Dialogue: The Power of Communication in the AI Era.”
Neghandi, known for her TEDx talk “Patient Voices” and her radio show “Seen from the Inside,” takes a unique approach to public speaking, emphasizing the power of authentic communication over performance or presentation techniques.
As AI continues to reshape the data and research landscape, strong communication skills are more critical than ever. All Heersink faculty looking to enhance their ability to share ideas and data in this evolving landscape are invited to attend.
