The University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Neurosurgery Professor James Johnston, M.D., MPH, was recently named to the Accreditation Council for Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowships’ (ACPNF) Board of Directors at the 2023 Joint Pediatric Section Annual Meeting in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At this meeting, Johnston also presented the lecture, “Opportunities in Global Pediatric Neurosurgery” as part of the ACPNF Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellow Bootcamp.
Johnston is now one of only four members of the ACPNF Board of Directors, which is made up of pediatric neurosurgeons from across the United States and Canada.
