The Department of Radiology is pleased to announce that, effective October 1, 2024, Siddhartha Gaddamanugu, M.D., will assume the role of program director, Neuroradiology Fellowship, succeeding Vee Prattipati, M.D.
Gaddamanugu brings a wealth of experience to this position. He completed his medical education at Rangaraya Medical College in India and his residency at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, India. He further honed his expertise with fellowship training in Neuroradiology and Nuclear Medicine at UAB.
With 14 years of service as a full-time staff radiologist at the Birmingham VA Medical Center, Gaddamanugu has demonstrated exceptional leadership, serving as the VA Radiology residency site director and overseeing resident education. In 2023, he joined UAB as an associate professor in the Neuroradiology section.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Prattipati for his outstanding leadership and contributions as fellowship director and look forward to Gaddamanugu continuing the program’s growth and excellence.
