UAB announces 2024 ENRICH Week poster winners

Screenshot 2024 10 09 at 3.14.36 PMOn September 25, 2024, UAB Heersink School of Medicine announced the poster winners for its 2024 Educational Research & Innovations in Clinical & Health Sciences (ENRICH) Week. ENRICH Week, held September 16-19, 2024, is an annual conference dedicated to health care educators. It aims to enhance teaching techniques, encourage curriculum innovation, and highlight research in 21st-century health education. The poster session highlighted presentations on innovation, clinical vignettes, and research and scholarship.

This year’s event featured a keynote address by Neil Mehta, M.D. entitled “Generative Artificial Intelligence in Medical Education” on September 18. The poster session judging took place on September 19 in the UAB Hospital West Pavilion Atrium. The 2024 ENRICH week received a record number of poster submissions, with involvement from faculty, students, and staff across all UAB health professions schools.
