The Clinical Trials Office and the UAB Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) will host its first Investigator Training Program on Saturday, Oct. 31.Titled “Clinical Research: A Practical and Pragmatic Approach For Investigators,” the program will describe the steps and requirements for investigators that occur between the receipt of the Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement and the Site Initiation Visit; describe steps essential for successful completion of a clinical study; and define the scope of principal investigator oversight and responsibilities.
The event will take place from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 in Room 231 of the Wallace Tumor Institute, 1824 6th Ave. South. All faculty are welcome to attend; lunch will be provided.
