UAB’s Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and UAB Callahan Eye Hospital & Clinics are pleased to welcome four new providers – Elise Agostinelli, OD, Jeff Chaiprakob, MD, John Morgan, MD, and Jeffrey Tapley, MD.

UAB’s Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and UAB Callahan Eye Hospital & Clinics are pleased to welcome four new providers. Elise Agostinelli, OD, will be practicing at our Trussville clinic, where she will specialize in pediatric optometry, and in our UAB Center for Low Vision Rehabilitation. Jeff Chaiprakob, MD, and John Morgan, MD are joining us in September after developing thriving private practices in Trussville and Oneonta. They will continue to practice at their current location in Trussville before moving to our Trussville clinic later this year, and the Oneonta clinic will become our newest Callahan location. Jeffrey Tapley, MD, is also joining us in August upon completion of his fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at Devers Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Tapley will practice at our downtown location and will be the primary ophthalmologist at our new Pelham location, which is scheduled to open later this year.
