BIO

Roxana I. Carcelen, M.D. graduated from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia Medical School in 1987. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Carcelen then completed her fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at UAB, with additional sleep medicine training during her time at UAB. She then transitioned into the Medicine Department Chair position at Brookwood Medical Hospital.
