Bio

I was born and raised in the Florida panhandle and worked as a retail pharmacist in my hometown of Marianna for several years before pursuing medical school. I am a big sports fan, especially college football (Go Gators!) and love getting outdoors to go fishing and boating. I enjoy spending my free time with my beautiful wife, Amy, and our son and daughter, Shepard and Wallis. We can be found most weekends at the McWane Science Center or Birmingham Zoo.

What do you love most about being a UAB Radiology Resident?

I love the camraderie amongst the residents and the willingness to help each other be better every day. I also love the unique and interesting pathologies that are encountered on a regular basis at UAB.
