BioMaureen Russell, PA-C, is an advanced practice provider in the Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She practices in the Division of Interventional Radiology, performing both clinical and procedural duties. She earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Sewanee: The University of the South. She then obtained her Masters in Health Science from The University of South Alabama. Prior to joining the Department of Radiology at UAB, she worked for several years in pain management at Southside Pain Specialists in Birmingham. She also previously worked in psychiatry and addiction medicine at both the Bradford Health Services in Warrior, AL, and the VA Hospital in Clarksburg, WV.
