Jubal R. Watts, Jr., M.D., is a medical graduate from the Medical College of Georgia and did his Radiology Residency here at the UAB Department of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology. At the end of his residency in 2006, he was offered a position here at UAB as a radiologist and was a distinguished member of our department for many years, receiving many Top Ten Teacher Awards, Best Doctors in America Awards, and several rewards both inside UAB and with the ACCP, RSNA, and others. He currently is on staff at the Veterans Administration Hospital here in Birmingham, as well as serving in the UAB Department of Radiology in our Cardiopulmonary Imaging Section and also serves as a specialized, Official “B” Reader for the NIOSH group in the Alabama district.
