| Lauren L. Radford attended the University of Central Florida where she received her B.S. in Chemistry in 2011. She was accepted into the chemistry graduate program at the University of Missouri in 2012, and earned her Ph.D. in 2016. Her dissertation focused on technetium and rhenium complexation for radiopharmaceutical applications. Upon the completion of her degree she eagerly packed her bags and moved to Birmingham, officially joining the Lapi group in August of 2016. Currently, her research focus is on the production of positron-emitting radiometals for diagnostic imaging and their incorporation into small, tumor-targeting molecules. |
